The route
Southern Namibia is a study in scale. The route runs from the red sands of the Kalahari to the Quiver Tree Forest near Keetmanshoop, then south to the Fish River Canyon, one of the largest canyons on the continent.
Days here are about light and silence rather than tick-lists: sunrise over the dunes, quiver trees silhouetted at dusk, and the canyon rim at the times of day when its colours change minute by minute.
